Watchman John "Jack" Livingston, North Platte, 10-16-20 to 9-7-24.  In January 1921, this picture was taken when Jack was well past 72 years of age.  He spent his entire lifetime in the states of Nebraska, Wyoming, Montana, Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas.  His "allotment" covered well over 50 years as a cowboy, trail boss, ranch foreman, sheriff and deputy sheriff.  Jack was a good example of men of the old west.
