Internet viewer Rod Thorsen identifies this plane as the second NW-1"Mystery" racer of  1923 built for racing and promoting Wright's Tornado engines.  His source is "The Speed Seekers" by Thomas G. Foxworth published by Haynes Publishing Group (UK).
